A-1 Acid posts Q2 net loss of Rs 0.04 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 0.04 crore compared to net profit of Rs 0.02 crore in the previous year quarter.ΓΏ
Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 45.19 per cent at Rs 47.20 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 86.11 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 44.41 per cent to Rs 47.30 crore from Rs 85.09 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 180.49 per cent at Rs 1.15 crore versus (Sep'22 Rs 0.41 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 109.90 per cent to Rs -0.10 crore as against Rs 1.01 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 118.64 per cent in September quarter.
Interest declined by 57.14 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.15 crore, while Taxation decreased by 70.00 per cent at Rs 0.03 crore (Sep'22 Rs 0.10 crore).
